The Bike Set Up, Maintenance and Roadside Repairs Workshop is a 3-hour practical training workshop that provides instructors with support to gain experience and knowledge to set up and maintain bikes, and to be able to perform necessary roadside repairs to keep trainees active and involved in their training sessions.
A basic understanding of the workings of the bicycle, a keenness to learn and currently hold a BSI, BSIT or CT certificate.

You will need access to a bicycle, and you are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen.
This workshop is free for anyone delivering Bikeability Scotland training as a volunteer and has authorisation from their Local Authority coordinator.
Following completion of this workshop, instructors may wish to progress onto a formal cycle mechanic training course or some of the other Bikeability Scotland CPD modules or other Cycling Scotland Training courses.
